Patrick Gilbert is the CEO of AdVenture Media, an award-winning digital advertising agency with 50 employees across three U.S. offices. He has spent more than a decade at the forefront of digital advertising, helping brands break the cycle of short-term ROAS-focused management and build sustainable growth strategies rooted in data, creativity, and long-term brand health.

Patrick began his career after studying marketing at Penn State University, gaining experience across the retail, nonprofit/healthcare, and finance sectors before joining AdVenture Media in 2015. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the agency’s growth into one of the most respected independent performance marketing firms in the United States.

In 2020, Patrick published Join or Die: Digital Advertising in the Age of Automation, which became an Amazon best-seller and was later recognized by TeamBuilding.org as one of the top advertising books of all time. He has been ranked as one of the most influential PPC experts in the world by PPC Hero, named a top voice on machine learning in marketing by Goodfirms, and featured as an instructor in Google’s official AI-powered performance advertising certification program.

Patrick is a frequent keynote speaker at international marketing conferences, including Google Partner events in New York, London, and Dublin, Affiliate World in Dubai, Friends of Search in Amsterdam and Brussels, and SMX Create, where he is known for challenging industry assumptions and advocating for strategies that bridge data, automation, and human creativity.

Beyond his professional work, Patrick is a new father, husband, and Cavapoo dog dad. He’s also an obsessive golfer and unapologetic Disney World vacationer. A lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, he continues to believe that one day, against all odds, they will win the Super Bowl.
